TEACHING
My teaching style is all about inclusivity and individualism. With every student I take on, I essentially hand craft a personalized course that attends to your specific learning requirements. This is based on a consultation where we arrange an initial meeting to see what it is you require help with and how I can help you achieve your goals. I hold a PGCE in Learning and Teaching, am DBS Checked and have 4 years experience of being a lecturer at a music university. Some topics I specialise in include, but aren’t limited to:
Developing a personal practice plan and learning how to efficiently practice
Refining grip and hand technique
Improvisational skills
Coordination
Any specific genre you want to explore including the historic and cultural elements
Snare Drum Solos
Music Theory and Reading Notation
Career Advice
Compositional Skills, writing drum parts and fills
Lessons take place from my apartment in Bedminster, Bristol or online.
